Ferdinando Garimberti & Guiseppe Ornati with Dual Slip Case
This is the set of books on Ferdinando Garimberti and  Guiseppe Ornati. Both being the prominent Milanese makers of the 20th century. Since Ornati has encountered a rising demand, it has become more important to reference these instruments.
Where there is fame there is fortune, so Ornati is copied out of admiration and greed alike.  The life size pictures give a good impression of the masters work. If you take the time to read through the text, you can find out more about his relations with the Casa de Bisiach and the important role Ornati played in various organizations.

Ferdinando Garimberti, is another prominent Milanese maker of the 20th century. Is rightfully mentioned with Ornati, but is so different from his contemporary. Ornati grew with a solid education in violinmaking from Leandro Bisiach, who called him Peppino. Garimberti stumbled upon his passion while working in a restaurant. The Antoniazi Brothers started his education. Only later and after working in a car factory and as a wine dealer did he open shop, realizing that a violin has to be seen as a whole; not as the components he was used to making for others. His life is worthy of a Hollywood production. The product of his passion and pure determination makes him one of my favourite modern Italians.
