Born in Canada, I spent most my time off there and did most of my schooling in Vienna. I went on to medical and business school, only to end up in banking and insurance. One day I was introduced to the "violin world" and it stuck with it. This past decade (and i can't believe it has been so long already) I have been in a back office position of some major shops on an international basis. Providing a wide range of services for the real life needs of violin shops and musicians. To the the question: what do you do?, i can only give the answer- whatever is necessary.

In the meantime I am entrusted with just about everything involving the technical aspects of stringed instruments. The only thing you will never see/hear me doing is giving a concert. Everything leading to a concert is pretty much my domain.

My pastime is my work and my biggest goal is trying not to be a workaholic. Difficult; if you live your passion on a daily basis. I love to operate the fine line between difficult and impossible and that unfortunately that involves a lot of rolling up your sleeves and working.
The superseding passion is not secret, but not destined for a homepage.
More fitting for this site is collecting books and travel, but those again would be considered work by most.
